In this Psalm David speaks of those who are wicked. David says, “The wicked are estranged from the womb; those who speak lies go astray from birth.”
We are all born with certain characteristics. All of us are unique. Our experiences around others tell us that people have different tendencies. We first recognize this when we are young.
When I was in grade school I observed that some children seemed to be naturally mean and cruel. Others were nice. Some were bullies and were aggressive, while others were passive and seemed to care for others.
The Bible says that God created all humans to serve His purposes. God guides some people to become His people who will live with Him in Heaven. However, some may serve God’s purpose to tempt God’s people, testing them so see if they will turn away from God.
God’s people will pass these tests. God’s people will not turn away from God. They will turn away from evil. Furthermore, they will resist temptations to sin.
The Bible says that God moulds and shapes His people. God sanctifies them. The Bible says that God will test His people throughout their lives to validate their Faith. God’s people should be aware of this as they proceed through their lives.
