In this Proverb Wisdom continues to speak, identifying the plight of those who do not get wisdom because they reject true knowledge of God. Wisdom also speaks of the benefit of those who become wise. Wisdom says, “But he who listens to me shall live securely and shall be at ease from the dread of evil.”
Those who believe in God and live by the Word of God, the Bible, live securely. They do not live in fear because they know God will protect and guide them. Such people know that they may face trials in their lives. However, they also know that God will help them through those trials.
These people truly believe what the Bible tells them. The Bible says, “All things work for good for those who love the Lord.” Those who love the Lord live by the Word of God and receive God’s blessings and guidance.
People who do not believe in God are fearful of many things. They live in fear of both real and perceived threats, things that are not real. We see this today with the COVID disease.
I believe that those who do not trust in God wear masks and take many booster shots. Whereas, those who believe in God refuse to take the COVID shots and don’t wear masks.
Believing in God has many benefits. However, the largest benefit is that believers will be allowed into Heaven after they die. They will live in paradise forever. Whereas, non-believers will live in pain and anguish forever.
