In this Psalm David says, “For the righteous God tries the hearts and minds.” When one decides to believe in God, he or she starts down a path that will lead to Salvation. However, one must remain on that path to enter Heaven after they die. It is not easy, for there will be temptations to leave that path.

God has chosen some people to live with Him forever, but He wants to make sure that these people will walk rightly before Him. He wants to make sure they will persevere in their belief. So, God tests them to see if their belief or Faith is genuine, even in the face of trials. These trials will continue throughout one’s life.

The Bible says, “Those who endure to the end will be saved.” Therefore, it is extremely important to finish one’s life walking rightly before God.

The Bible says that if a person walks rightly for a while but then departs from righteousness, that person’s righteous deeds will not be remembered. They will be judged according to how they finished their life. Therefore, we must not depart from walking rightly. Indeed, we must pass God’s tests. We must endure in our Faith to the end of our lives.
