In these passages David says, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, the God who is our Salvation.” David, like many of us, had many burdens in his life. He had troubles with which to deal. These troubles feel like burdens. They restrict our freedoms and squelch our joy.
When we turn to God for help, He will carry that burden for us. The Bible says, “Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” Our concerns and worries will diminish, as we trust God for help in resolving our problems. In effect, we will be unburdened.
When we trust in God for the resolution of a problem, we know that God will solve this problem according to His methods. We can follow God’s leading and observe with wonder how God solves the problem. Moreover, we can be confident that He will.
