In this Psalm, the Psalmist writes that God knows our thoughts. He says, “For He knows the secrets of the heart.” That is truly incredible. God can read our minds. Therefore, He knows our motivations and our intentions. We might be able to hide our intentions from others. However, we cannot hide them from God.
The Bible also says that God’s powers are so incredible that God even knows our words before we speak. The Bible also says that God knows the details of our entire life before were even born. That may lead one to think that we don’t have freedom of choice.
If God knows or our choices before we make them, then what’s the use in trying to live rightly before God? However, the Bible says our choices are still important. What we think, say or do will determine if we go to Heaven. God just knows what our choices will be.
