This Psalm of David prophesies about Jesus’ return to the Earth to be King for 1000 years. When Jesus returns, He will destroy His enemies. Some He will destroy immediately. Others He will judge during His 1000-year rule.
Jesus’ millennial rule will provide a time and setting to teach the world’s population God’s Truths. Some will be receptive and believe. However, some will not.
Referring to Jesus, David prophesies in this Psalm, “Your hand will find out all your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.” David prophesies further, “The Lord will swallow things up in his wrath and fire will destroy them.”
Jesus is now and will continue to establish a population of people who God will allow into Heaven. These people will reside in Heaven with God for all eternity.
God will only allow those who believe in Jesus to live with Him. That population will be identified by the end of Jesus’ millennial rule. Those who don’t believe will be cast into Hell for all eternity.
