This Psalm is one of my favorites. It speaks of the Word of God. More specifically, it speaks of the writer’s love for God’s Word. I love this Psalm because I, too, love the Word of God.
Here is a beneficial passage to ponder. “How blessed are those who observe His testimonies who seek them with all their heart. They also do no unrighteousness. They walk in His ways. Thou hast ordained Thy precepts that we should keep them diligently.”
When we seek God’s Truth in the Bible our lives change. We no longer favor sin and sin’s temporary pleasures. We will seek goodness and right living or righteousness. The benefits of living like this produce enduring pleasure and joy in our lives. We begin to realize the linkage between obeying God’s Word and our blessings. As a result, we will be motivated to seek more of God’s Truths that we may apply them in our lives.
Moreover, as we seek to understand God’s Truths in the Bible, God will give us more understanding. Our lives will blossom. More importantly we will be on a pathway that will result in our Salvation and eternity in Heaven after we die.
