This Psalm contains the following thought-provoking passage: “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his godly ones.” Those who have lived their lives believing in and obeying God are considered godly. God sees these people as His. When these people die, God will accept them into His Heavenly Kingdom whereas godless people will not be allowed to enter.

Our lives here on Earth are temporary. Earth is not our real home. Heaven is. I believe our lives here on Earth are for the purpose of molding and shaping us into people who will be suitable for life in Heaven.

The Bible says, “It is appointed once for man to die and then the judgment.” We get one chance at life on Earth. There is no reincarnation. We must realize this and live accordingly. We must believe in God. God will then lead us to believe in Jesus who is the living Word of God. We must then live our lives according to God’s guidance in His Word, the Bible.

God will then see us as godly people. The conclusion of our lives here on Earth will then be precious to God, and God will accept us into His Heaven.
