In this Psalm of David, David mentions three of Israel’s 12 tribes: Manasseh, Ephraim, and Judah. In my opinion these are the three most significant tribes in Israel.

Regarding these tribes David speaks from God’s viewpoint. David says, “Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is also the helmet of my head; Judah is my scepter.

The descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh have produced much good in this world. There is ample evidence that the descendants of Ephraim became the British Empire which produced much order and prosperity in the world. There is also evidence that America descended from Manasseh. America is the greatest nation in the world and has also produced much prosperity. Additionally, the world monetary standard rested in the British pound and the American dollar.

However, the tribe of Judah is most important because Jesus came from the tribe of Judah. He will one day hold the scepter and be King of the Earth. I believe Jesus will return soon and establish His Kingdom.
