This Psalm speaks of God’s lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. It says that God’s lovingkindness is great, and it is everlasting. It never ends. God’s lovingkindness produces blessings in our lives. God’s lovingkindness also removes our transgressions from us.

Our transgressions are an impediment to good things in our lives. They keep us from enjoying what the Bible calls Fruits of the Holy Spirit. When we put our trust in God, He gives us His Holy Spirit to teach us and to guide us.

When we have God’s Holy Spirit written within us God gives us the Fruits of his Holy Spirit. These include Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control. Our lives become characterized by these truly good things.

When we have the Fruits of God’s Holy Spirit, our lives are rich and full. We have joy in our lives. Fears and anxieties depart from us. We also have peace that surpasses all understanding. Additionally, our marriages and families thrive.

Enjoying God’s lovingkindness is truly a great way to live.
