In this daily Bible reading is the allocation of cities for the Levites: The sons of Kohath, Gershon, and Merari. The sons of Kohath were in charge of the most holy objects during the Exodus. Interestingly they were given cities from the tribes of Judah, Ephraim, and Manasseh.
As I mentioned before, the sons of Judah and Joseph were given the largest portions of land in Israel. Arguably one could say that these tribes were the most important and most blessed. Today the world knows the occupants of Israel as Jews. Jews came from the tribe of Judah.
It is the Jews who are returning to the land of Israel today. As I previously mentioned, there is strong evidence that the sons of Joseph eventually became the United States and the British Empire. America and England are strong allies of Israel today. These countries could well be the ‘seed of Abraham.’ God has truly blessed them.
