This Psalm speaks of God’s marvelous creation: The Heavens and the Earth. It speaks of how God put all things together to sustain life here on the Earth. God provided habitats for all living things so that they may live and reproduce.
These habitats include the oceans, rivers, streams, mountains, valley and the deserts. All of these provide for the various living beings including man, animals, birds, fish and insects. Everything has a suitable place to live. Additionally, these habitats all work together for the well-being of everything.
The places and processes that God created are miraculous and marvelous. Mankind has studied God’s creation and continually attempts to use science to define how it all works.
The real purpose of science is to explain how God created the Heavens and the Earth. In this regard science fall short. It cannot accurately define God’s creation.
New fields of science and study emerge as God reveals more of his creation. However, we will never totally understand God’s creation until we are one day with God in Heaven.
