In these passages, the Apostle John sees in Heaven a multitude of people clothed in white robes. They were standing before the throne of God and worshiping God. The Angel speaking to John said, “These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
During the final three and half years before Jesus returns to the Earth, there will be much death and destruction. During this period, it will be illegal to be a true believer. It will be illegal to believe in Jesus and to read the Bible. Many believers will be executed for their belief, much like they were in ancient Rome when Nero was Emperor.
Standing for belief in Jesus has resulted in the death of many believers throughout the centuries. When one is faced with death unless they recant their belief, it will be the ultimate test of their Faith. They must choose to die rather than recant if they want to go to Heaven. This kind of Faith does not happen instantly. It must be developed over a lifetime.
The Bible is essential to this journey of Faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible must be read on a regular basis if one wants to be prepared for the ultimate test of their Faith.
