In these passages the writer prays to God the following: “Remember the word to Thy servant, in which Thou hast made me hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, that Thy Word has revived me.” During our lives here on the Earth we will face many trials. We may become discouraged and ‘down in the dumps.’ During those times of discouragement and anxiety we can find comfort and encouragement when we read the Bible.

Reading the Bible will redirect our focus from our problems and our anxieties. There are many passages in the Bible that will renew our encouragement and hope. Here is one of my favorites. “Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight” when we turn our problems over to God for solutions, our anxieties will immediately melt away. We may not know how God will solve our problem. However, He always will.

God wants us to trust Him. He wants us to have Faith. When we demonstrate our Faith in God, He will be pleased with us. He will help us and guide us in our walk through life here on Earth.
