This Proverb says, “There are three things which are majestic in pace, yes four which are stately in walk: A lion, which is mighty among beasts and does not turn away from any; a strutting rooster, a male goat also, and a king whose troops are with him. This Proverb gives examples of things that are not encumbered by fear. They walk with courage and confidence. We, too, can walk with courage and confidence when we trust in God. The Bible says that God will guide and protect those who believe in Him. In that regard, we can be encouraged with this passage: “Trust in God and lean not in your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.”
Nothing happens in our lives without God orchestrating or allowing it. God has a purpose for each one of us and it will be fulfilled. We should realize this Truth when trials and troubles come our way, as they inevitably will. We may not be able to discern how God will help us and guide us out of trouble. However, we can be confident that He will.
Therefore, fear should not be the dominant force in our lives. Rather, we should live our lives courageously, demonstrating our Trust and Faith in God. With that mindset we can proceed down the pathway of life with confidence. Focusing on our real home, Heaven, will help us sustain our Faith and Trust in God.
