In this daily Bible reading the writer speaks of God’s new covenant with Israel through Jesus Christ. The writer quotes a Biblical passage that speaks of God’s new covenant. “After those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws upon their heart, and upon their mind I will write them.” He then says, “And their sins and their lawless deeds will I will remember no more.
Jesus’ singular sacrifice, His willing death on a Roman cross, atoned for the sins of mankind; past, present, and future for all time. His death atoned for the sins of those who believe in Him.
The Bible says that Jesus will return to the Earth again in his physical and resurrected body. He will return to rule Israel and the world. Jesus will be King. The Bible says Jesus will also teach the people how to live. Specifically, He will teach the Jews in Israel and live with them
The Bible says that the Gospel message of Jesus Christ is “for the Salvation of those who believe, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” Gods primary goal is the Salvation of His chosen people, Israel. However, He will save all others who believe as well. He will save you and me.
The Bible says God doesn’t want anyone to be lost. However, God won’t force people to believe in Jesus. They must believe in Jesus of their own accord. We will always have freedom to choose. Therefore, our eternal home will be totally dependent on our choice to believe in Jesus.
