In these passages is the account of Peter healing a crippled man in front of the people at the Temple. Peter told the people that this miracle was made possible by Peter’s Faith in Jesus. It provided an opportunity for Peter to turn the hearts of the people to Jesus, who they had recently killed.

Peter gave the people an excuse for their actions, saying that they were ignorant. Then Peter illuminated the Word of God to them, proving that Jesus Christ was prophesied by the prophets in God’s Word. Peter proved this using the same scripture in which the people believed.

There are over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament that speak of Jesus. Many have been precisely fulfilled. This should provide ample proof to the skeptics as to the divine inspiration of the Bible, and the legitimacy of Jesus. However, many people still reject the Truth, even when it is evident.
