This Proverb says, “What the wicked fear will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted. When the whirlwind passes, the wicked are no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation.”

The Bible indicates that those who believe in God and live rightly before Him do not live in fear. These people have Faith in God and trust God for protection and guidance. Therefore, the righteous people have courage. They know that God will protect and help them in all situations.

On the other hand, those who do not believe in God or trust God for protection and guidance do not have such confidence. These people fear many things. They even fear things that pose no threat. Additionally, those who reject God will have their worst fears happen to them. What a terrible experience that must be.

The Bible also says that the righteous have built their lives with a strong foundation. Therefore, when the storms of life happen, their solid foundation will stand. They will survive.

On the other hand, the wicked have no such foundation. Therefore, they will be severely harmed or destroyed when they encounter storms in their lives.

Clearly, it is better to live rightly before God and rely on God’s help and protection. Why would any person choose otherwise?
