In these passages is a song which David wrote after the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies. David praised God for all that God had done for David. David said of the Lord, “He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.”
I find great comfort in this Truth. God has protected me from harm, both spiritually and physically. I look with wonder at the many ailments that have befallen people, many diseases and afflictions.
I feel fortunate that I have not been so afflicted. I am currently healthy and fit at the age of 75. This could change if it is God’s will. Either way, I will remain anchored in the Word of God and strive to live in obedience to God. I will continue to pray for God’s guidance and help daily.
