In this daily Bible reading is the account of a woman with an un-curable hemorrhage being cured by just touching the hem of Jesus’ garment. She believed she would be healed if she did so. She was healed immediately upon touching Jesus.
Interestingly, Jesus didn’t know who touched Him, but He was aware that power to heal had gone out of Him. When He found who had touched Him, Jesus said to the woman that her Faith had healed her.
Faith in God is a powerful force. The Bible says, “Without Faith it is impossible to please God.” Our belief in Jesus is validated through our Faith in the Word of God. Real Faith will then produce actions yielding fruit in our lives.
The Bible says that ‘Faith without works is dead.’ If our Faith does not produce action, then it is not real Faith. It is useless. Our Faith is then validated by what we do rather than what we say.
