In this daily Bible reading God speaks to the Prophet Zechariah about the Millennial Kingdom. During the Millennial Kingdom, the Jews will be restored to the land under the Kingship of Jesus Christ. God has purposed to bless Israel once again. He severely punished Israel for their transgressions. Soon, He will bless the remnant that survived His wrath.
The Bible says that for 1000 years Jesus will live in Jerusalem as King. Jesus will be wiser than Solomon in His leadership. Just as people from many nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, they will come to Jerusalem to hear Jesus’ wisdom and to learn from Him. They will then take this knowledge back to their own countries.
Countries around the world will grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. Israel and the world will become characterized by Truth and Righteousness. Jesus will be building a kingdom of people who will eternally reside with God in Heaven.
