In this daily Bible reading Jesus takes the Apostle John to Heaven in a vision. While there, John sees God sitting on His throne. It was a spectacular vision. Around God’s throne were sitting 24 elders, and before Him were seven spirits of God. There were also four living creatures with wings and a multitude of eyes standing around His throne praising God continually. The elders were also worshiping God and praising Him for who He is and what He has done.
We too should recognize who God is and what He has done. We too must learn to praise God on a regular basis, articulating His characteristics and accomplishments. For example, we should proclaim that God is awesome, mighty, just, kind, true, righteous, holy, merciful, patient and faithful. He created the universe and all that is in it. He created this world and all that is in it. And He created each one of us. We should be awestruck and humbled with these Truths.
God is our Creator and deserving of our praise and worship. The Bible says that we were created to worship God. The Bible says that we should ‘love God with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our strength and with all of our soul.’ This is what we must learn to do during our lives here on Earth.
