In this daily Bible reading is the account of Jesus and his disciples crossing the Sea of Galilee in a boat and encountering a storm. Jesus was sleeping when the storm arrived. His disciples woke Him out of fear for their lives. Jesus calmed the storm and said to them, “Where is your Faith?” His disciples should have known that God would protect them, especially because they were with Jesus.
We should always trust God for the outcome in our lives, especially in difficult situations. We should be ready to accept whatever outcome the Lord has in mind for us. The Bible says, “All things work for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to his purposes.”.
The Bible also says, “Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” I have found that to be absolutely true in my life.
