In this daily Bible reading Jesus mentions 18 people who died when the tower of Siloam fell on them. Jesus said to the people, “Do you suppose that those 18 on whom the tower of Siloam fell and killed them were worse culprits then all the men who live in is Jerusalem? I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
I must never have the attitude that others are worse sinners than I am. No. I must realize that I am a sinner deserving judgment and death. I must truly repent, turning away from sin in my life and walking rightly before God. I need Jesus to help me do this. I need to seek His guidance and help continuously. So, I pray, “Dear Lord. I repent of my sins. Please help me to walk rightly before You in thought, word and deed. Amen.”
