This Proverb says, “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law strive with them. Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand all things.” These are two perspectives or ways of living in the world today. One way is the world view over which Satan has spiritual control. This view is motivated by natural human tendencies and desires. The Bible calls this our sinful desires. It is contrary to God’s laws and guidance. However it is easier to follow.

The other perspective is a Godly perspective. It is a perspective that embraces God’s laws and guidance. The Bible calls this perspective the right perspective. This perspective supports the belief that sinful living is wrong in God’s eyes. This perspective supports justice and righteousness. It identifies sin as evil and living by God’s laws to be right.

The Godly perspective is more difficult to embrace because it is contrary to the world’s views. It takes effort to live by this perspective. However it produces a far better life.

As this Proverb says, the worldly perspective praises those who the Bible calls wicked. This perspective rejects the godly perspective.

The Bible says that those who reject God and are given over to sins will spend eternity in Hell with much pain and torment. However, those who live by God’s Word will spend eternity in paradise experiencing pleasure and joy.
