In these passages is the account of David fighting and killing the giant Philistine warrior, Goliath. David’s courage and strong Faith in God were on display before all of Israel’s army. God was orchestrating events that would lead to David becoming an army commander and eventually King of Israel.
I believe that God orchestrates events in all of our lives. I am aware that God orchestrated many events in my life that have led me to where I am today. He has done many wonderful things for me and has helped me greatly. More importantly, He has drawn me to believe in Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior.
God has given me a great hunger for His Word. He has also given me a desire to motivate others to read and study the Bible and believe in Jesus Christ. I pray that this website/blog will serve that purpose.
